Part-time Forest Nursery
A new program in the Riverview neighborhood to take advantage of our fabulous green spaces and raise children who are connected to the land and prepared to be stewards of our neighborhood.

Part-time Forest Nursery started September 2024 and is currently in its first pilot year. The program runs from 9:00-12:00, Monday to Friday September to mid-July and is for children ages 3-5 years of age. This program is completely outdoors (except for when weather is hazardous).
The program is currently FULL, however, if you're interested you can add your child to our Waitlist.

What is a Forest School?
Forest and Nature schools are place-based and play-based programs that take place in natural settings (forests, fields, beaches, tundra) all over the world. These programs are designed to be completely outdoors in all weather and build on the natural world, weather and turning seasons to inform their curriculum.
Our curriculum is play-based, place-based, and emergent.
