Thanks to the National Child Care Plan federal funding the Province of Manitoba gave us a grant for staff recruitment and retention that we were able to use for full day, off-site Professional Development Day on Friday, June 16th!
We are very thankful to have time as a team to talk about our upcoming summer program (instead of meeting after a long day at work) as well as do a team building activity in the Leaf Biome and do a full day wellness and team planning workshop with Cas Acland Consulting.
We rarely get a chance to talk and share together as adults and as an added bonus we had adult size chairs to do it on :)
We are grateful to have a board of directors and families that support our professional growth and a commitment to quality early learning & child care.
