❄️ Today was our first proper snow day, where we had a few inches of snow to play in. ❄️ After yesterday's tricky transition into the cold, we were all ready with our warmest layers to make the day a good one and really enjoy the snow.

So, how'd we do that? Let us tell you!

We slid up and down the hill in our sled, taking turns inside and outside pushing or pulling.

We made snow angels and snow people.

We played "ice cream shop" with our snow balls.

We tracked animals and people, telling stories about the footprints we saw.

We worked on our forts, which help keep us warm when it's windy.

We still needed some help taking turns, opening our snacks, and taking mitts on and off. Of course, it's all part of the process that supports us to get into the best kinds of play.

Thanks for following along ✨
